Shipping Policy
Printed products

All art prints, bags, and other non-commissioned products are printed and shipped directly from the print facility closest to you, the customer, resulting in shorter shipping distances, faster delivery times and less environmental impact.
Shipping costs on non-commissioned products (e.g. art prints, bags etc) are decided by the print facilities and not me. I do not have any control or say over these prices.

Dispatch times range from 1-4 business days, and then delivery times are determined by your location and chosen shipping method.

Commissions/Original artwork
​
For all commissioned and original artworks and products, including portraits, baubles and commissioned art works, these are handmade by me and are packed and shipped by me personally.
​
I am a travelling artist, currently in New Zealand until mid-December when I will then be in Australia until March 2026.
All commissioned pieces will therefore be shipped from these locations during these times. If you have a specific delivery date, please make this clear with me when you first reach out with your commission enquiry. I do my best to meet deadlines, but once I drop orders at the post office I then lose all control over how long they take to arrive with you as transit delays can occur. I advise you to place all commission orders as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

On completion of commissioned pieces I aim to have them packed and dropped at the post office within 2 business days.
Shipping costs will depend on the size and weight of your artwork, the country you are shipping it to, and which delivery method you choose (tracked, budget, express etc). Please email me at sophie@lovelylittleartist.com if you would like me to get a shipping quote for you.

Return & Refund Policy
Thank you for so much for purchasing from me. I appreciate your business and want to ensure you're fully satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you're not completely happy with your purchase, please review my return and refund policy below.

Return Window
​
You can return your purchased items within 30 days of receiving the order.
​
Return Conditions
​
To be eligible for a return, your item must:

Be unused and in the same condition

Be in the original packaging

Provide proof of purchase

Please note that the following items cannot be returned:
​
Commissioned portraits
Commissioned baubles
Commissioned original art work

Return Process
​
To initiate a return, please email me at sophie@lovelylittleartist.com and if your return request is approved, I will provide you with instructions on where to send your return.
Please do not send anything back without contacting me first, as it may not be accepted.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Return postage
​

Change of mind: You cover return postage.

Our error (e.g. incorrect item sent, damaged): I will cover return postage.

Damages and issues
​
Once you receive your order, please inspect it thoroughly and contact me immediately if you find anything is damaged, defective or incorrect.

Exchanges
​
If you would like to exchange an item, please let me know. The same eligibility criteria applies as returns; items must be unused, unopened, in their original packaging and have proof of postage.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
​
I cannot accept any returns for commissioned pieces due to the personal nature of the artwork. All sales are final for commissioned pieces, this includes:

Original art commission by you

If your commissioned piece is damaged in transit, please let me know immediately and I will arrange a solution.

Shipping address responsibility
​
Please ensure that your delivery address has been entered correctly.
If you notice after placing your order that the address was incorrect, please contact me immediately. Provided your order has not reached too far along in the process, there is a chance I can still amend your address. But please be reminded this is not guaranteed and so it is important you double check all details before submitting your order to avoid disappointment.

I cannot refund or replace orders delivered to an incorrectly entered address, and replacement cost responsibility falls on the customer.
​
Approved Returns Timeframe
​
Once we have approved your return request, you must post the item/s back to me within 7 days. Returns sent after this period may not be accepted.
​
Refunds
​
Once I have received and inspected your return, I will notify you of the outcome.
​
If approved, all refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5 business days.
(Please note that your bank or card provider may take longer to finalise the refund.)
​
Refunds do not apply to the original shipping cost, unless the return is due to an error on my part. Refund amount is only applied to the product cost.
​
If 15 business days have passed since approval and you haven’t received your refund, please let me know.
